Hey guys,<\/p>\n

I might be missing something, but so far in hashing out what’s been going on this season I haven’t heard much about Dr. Ford. It seems implicit in your discussions that Ford is truly gone and the hosts are “off their loops”. But, this seems extremely implausible to me. From everything we know so far, Ford is always in control and as was referenced in last night’s episode “everything is code”. What I take this to mean is that everything that is going on right now *is* the new narrative, and to put it in very clear terms, there is nothing “free” about it.<\/p>\n

Further, do you think Ford is gone? During the instacast you guys mentioned “predictive analytics”, seems Ford would have been able to “transfer” is behavioral patterns into a host just like he did with Arnold>Bernard. It seems completely likely that Ford has either distributed his consciousness among the hosts (young Robert, Giancarlo Espo) and is making little appearances to piss off the MIB. What I’m trying to say is a) I fully do not believe Ford is gone except in flesh and b) the hosts are in the same consciousness they have always been in, but the line between host and human is blurred bc NO ONE has choice, human or host. Anyhoot, love the pod and I think you guys churn out really thoughtful stuff, keep up the good work.<\/p>\n
