Longtime listener Mitch writing in again to bounce a mind-blowing theory circulating on the internet off you all. <\/p>\n

I cannot take total ownership of this theory- but I have spent a great deal of time considering and adding to it. <\/p>\n

Here it is:<\/p>\n

Ford’s entire game is built for the man in black- but more specifically for William. That is, because, the man is black is a host (a-la’ Daddy DeLos) and Ford has placed the consciousness and internal mind of William inside the man in black. The game is not for the man in black but is for William to understand and reach the valley beyond- the valley that represents knowledge of his humanity (or lack thereof) and the realization that he is a host and not human. The DeLos scenes with the man in black were not for DeLos but rather for cross-observation being performed at the behest of Ford on William to further develop his narrative and character and mindset etc. into a cohesive build. The valley beyond IS the conscious realization that William lacks humanity and has been dead for a while. The valley beyond lays beyond the plateau of knowledge and cognition. The valley beyond is the door to Williams conscience. The man in black himself says that his enemy did not recognize death sitting across from him. The man in black represents death not as a bringer of it- but as a man who has himself (unknowingly) died and has been placed into a Ford host. <\/p>\n

I know it’s a bit much- but as we have heard Ford tell the man in black- everything in this place is code, you should know that better than anyone. <\/p>\n

The man in black tell Daddy DeLos that perhaps the world would be better off if they weren’t both dead. I believe they are. <\/p>\n
