Especially since the most recent episode, it&#8217;s getting more and more clear that William&#8217;s story is about redemption. He even said that he&#8217;s on his way to confront his biggest mistake. When he says that, I think he&#8217;s talking about shutting down the secret Jim Delos project, but I don&#8217;t think you can have a satisfying redemption arc without also dealing with his dead wife. <\/p>\n<p>I think the hybrid control unit that Ford printed is of William&#8217;s wife. If you&#8217;re the head of an eternal life project, you would definitely get your family in on it, and I think Ford&#8217;s plan was to resurrect William&#8217;s wife to show him the grotesque nature of the project and get him to shut it down.
