Thinking about the red ball an idea came to me that maybe it’s William… Not the one we’re watching, though. That William’s biggest mistake was a deal with Ford to have his consciousness put into a host after his death, but upon seeing the results of Papa Delos host, and his own ruminating on mortality, he’s decided it might not be a good idea… That’s why he was pushing to figure out the maze in season 1. If the hosts can achieve real consciousness then the hybrids could to, but having found that the maze won’t work for humans, the backup William is the mistake. Ford could have made a William host, young like we see in the flashbacks, that’s fully aware, but going crazy and on the hunt for human William. Maybe a nod to the MiB from the movie. <\/p>\n

Or if they really wanted to mess with William, it could be a host version of his wife… I think that’s a bit more far fetched, though. <\/p>\n

Love podcasts and think Kerri is a great addition to shat the movies… Weird that she’s such a Blade Runner fan, but hasn’t contributed to the Westworld podcast yet since it could almost be Blade Runners prequel… At any rate, keep up the good work. <\/p>\n
