When Emily mentions that she threw the engraved ballerina jewellery box that she was given on her 16th birthday in to the trash, and that when she tried to retrieve it (out of guilt) the trash had already been emptied; this was before her mother&#8217;s death. The jewellery box was where her mother hides William&#8217;s card before she commits suicide, which means she still had it. Does that not indicate an incorrect memory of the event from Emily, and that she could be a host?
