How devastating would it be if the Night King does not attack Winterfell? We’re all expecting this big battle in the next couple episodes and what if it took place at kings landing instead? If I were the night king why would I attack the most heavily defended castle, containing the largest army in Westeros, 2 dragons, and an arsenal of dragon glass weapons. <\/p>\n

Would it not be more strategic to head south and pick off a much smaller army at kings landing? Especially if said army is fighting for coin, and not prepared to fight the undead. <\/p>\n

Not only that but heading south would help weaken winterfell by cutting off any route for supplies to winterfell and limit the option to retreat should winterfell fall. Also by waiting to attack winterfell, those dothraki and unsullied and dragons will be going through the food supplies mighty fast. Also there’s the position you’d place the leaders at winterfell in, do they send help and lose any defensive advantage? <\/p>\n

Also from a show viewing perspective it id find id find it interesting as for two years I’ve been expecting the night king to attack winterfell first, and I’d love for this expectation to be toss aside. <\/p>\n

Anyways, big fan of your podcasts, been listening since Westworld season 1, thanks for years of keeping my work week interesting. <\/p>\n
