I just wanted to say I love the podcast. I am sending this before episode 4, so I’m not confident this will be completely relevant. As far as Episode 3 goes, I was okay with how everything played out except all of the last minute saves. Had they killed one more “important” character, I would’ve been that much better with the episode. <\/p>\n

I wanted your opinions about a theory I came up with that I don’t think I’ve seen or heard anywhere else. While Yara was saying goodbye to Theon when he decided to fight for the living but more importantly the Starks in Season 8 episode 1, she says “what is dead may never die” and Theon repeats it in true Greyjoy fashion. THEN Yara leans in and says “but kill the bastards anyway.” The cut is dramatic and the look between Yara and Theon is too obvious. <\/p>\n

Could this be a foreshadowing that Jon dies? Since Yara and Dany are allies, could this prove that they are against Jon? I think it’s pretty obvious that D&D have been setting up The Mad Queen plot on Dany, since she has fought long and hard for eight seasons to earn respect and be known as the last Targaryen and true heir to the throne. Now that she knows the truth, I think she’d put power aside love and betray Jon. Yara has the men and the army to help her do it. I think whatever happens someone good will end up on the throne, but assuming Yara is against Jon, I think the realm will suffer the loss of Jon Snow in order to get to a fair ruling. <\/p>\n

I’m not sure if Gene or I could possibly handle the loss of Jon Snow again, but I would be okay with it if it were best for the realm. I love the podcasts, thank you for making the week go by a little quicker. <\/p>\n
