Just listened to your Instacast. First, I wanted to say, thanks so much for both of your opinions about this episode, “The Bells.” My husband and I are definitely not seeing eye-to-eye and I imagine I’m in the minority on liking this episode… yet again. <\/p>\n

Second, I wanted to share my take on the Valonqar theory. I actually thought Cersei’s death was poetic; Cersei is, in fact, “drowning in her tears,” when Jamie holds her close as the ceiling collapses on top of them – effectively “choking the life” from her. I think it’s important to point out that the reason they ended up in the tunnels in the first place is that Tyrion told Jamie to take Cersei down into the tunnels – to escape and get to the dingy that would be left there for them. This is essentially what sealed their fate – being trapped in the tunnels with no way out. <\/p>\n

Some other podcasts and fans of the show are griping that none of the prophecies are being fulfilled. But, I think they are failing to see that many of the prophecies are simply not be fulfilled quite as they had expected. I, for one, appreciate it when things are not black and white – and GOT is awesome at keeping fans on their toes. <\/p>\n

Finally, one more note about Arya: I don’t think she gave up on all of her training – I think she’s realized there are bigger fish to fry. She knows she needs to take care of the new threat instead of dying in order to take out someone who is no longer a threat – all for the sake of revenge. <\/p>\n

Can’t wait to see how this series ends – I’m still on board and hope that most fans can get past what they think should happen and embrace the show for what it is. <\/p>\n
