\nGood morning gents,<\/p>\n

I believe in the theory that William is the Man in Black. After the ‘Trace Decay’ episode I am even more convinced that this is the case. However, I watched the whole series over again prior to ‘Trace Decay’ and I think I found a few holes in the theory: <\/p>\n

Teddy was never given a backstory as to why he has to atone for something bad he did and can’t stay with Delores. I assumed the addition of the new Wyatt storyline is part of the present timeline. However, Delores first stumbles upon William and Logan in the woods AFTER Teddy goes with the sheriff to find Wyatt. I thought that maybe the Wyatt addition could be in the past timeline but… <\/p>\n

When Delores travels with William and Logan, the control center notices that she is way off her loop. One of the techs mentions that it is probably because of Fords new Narrative is disrupting so many story lines. The control center dispatches someone to retrieve her but William stops them… again I assumed that the ‘new narrative’ is in the present timeline but… <\/p>\n

As we find out, Teddy is captured by Wyatt’s men then tortured and tied to a tree. The Man in Black and Lawrence stumble upon Teddy. The Man in Black kills Lawrence to revive Teddy with a ‘blood sacrifice.’ Ford meets them in the bar and he and the Man in black discuss the Maze. Ford encourages him and fully restores Teddy to send them on their way. <\/p>\n

Shortly after this happens, William, Logan, and Delores finally make it to Pariah and wouldn’t you know it, Lawrence, AKA El Lazo, is back in the rotation. <\/p>\n

These story lines are much more intertwined than previously thought. either that or they are HUGE coincidences- which we know, do NOT happen in the park. <\/p>\n

I have come to the conclusion that:
\nWilliam IS the Man in Black but maybe our understanding of the other story lines are not what they seem. Maybe Ford has created new narratives that disrupt the park in the past. He does mention that the Board likes to test him, implying that this has happened before.<\/p>\n
