Apparently, wearing foil headgear to protect oneself from government (or other) radio waves actually amplifies those waves.  Here&#8217;s an article:  https:\/\/www.theatlantic.com\/health\/archive\/2012\/09\/tin-foil-hats-actually-make-it-easier-for-the-government-to-track-your-thoughts\/262998\/ <\/p>\n<p>LG&#8217;s mask, and hat, and behavior (including and maybe especially the &#8220;Friends of Nemo&#8221; group, as well as the alarm system and photography) are all similar examples of supposedly protective behavior that reinforces (and even amplifies) the paranoia. <\/p>\n<p>Worth noting, he survives the psychic blast of 11\/2 because he&#8217;s in a hall of mirrors. Also, love &#8220;friends of Nemo&#8221; &#8212; presumably referring to Captain Nemo in 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (by Jules Verne, where Nemo has an epic battle with a giant squid).
