I guess this is less of a question and more of a statement, with my intent being to make sure that my thought process is correct.<\/p>\n

It seems that at this point in the story, anything left unanswered can really be “answered” by simply adding it to the list of unresolved storylines. So I’m not expecting an answer, per se…<\/p>\n

Regarding Logan’s fate, I count three reasons that lead us to believe that Logan is “out of the picture.”<\/p>\n

First, William was (seemingly) indeed able to persuade Logan’s father’s company to invest heavily in Westworld. Second, William seemingly went on to gain great power and success within Delos (and perhaps beyond) as is evident by his board seat and controlling interest. And third, and of a most personal nature, William married Logan’s sister. It is my suggestion that none of these events could have unfolded if Logan was around, to tell the truth. (Could William refute Logan’s claims as the ravings of a man gone mad? Seems unlikely given that he would have to convince Logan’s own family.)<\/p>\n

Now on the other hand, how in Ford’s name (see what I did there?) could the park have let Logan perish? How could they let any guest perish, let alone the son of the owner of a company interested in investing? We are talking about the early days — right after the park opened — not the chaos of the present day. Even if the park overseers didn’t see what was going on, aren’t there safeguards in place within the host-horse?<\/p>\n

Or, are we to believe that Ford was behind this conspiracy in order to secure the financial backing? Was Ford a murderer? Thirty years ago?<\/p>\n

Please just tell me that I’m correct in thinking this needs to be resolved.<\/p>\n
