So in previous seasons we have had multiple timelines. First season we had no idea if the timelines were different which was part of the big mystery. Second season there was time jumping but it wasn’t really part of the big mystery. This Season feels like there is a big mystery although we are not sure we are seeing it. Tinfoil hat on. Instead of wondering all season “are there multiple timelines” i’m wondering are there multiple simulation. I ask myself why does Charlotte and Delores feel so strange? In episode 1 there was a party guest that suggested they were all in a simulation, Well i’m suggesting its just that, however i don’t think its one consecutive simulation. I think we are seeing slight differences due to multiple simulations. In multiple simulations you will get storylines and actions that follow the same general path but with slightly altered outcomes. I swear every time i watched Charlotte watching the video of the “real” Charlotte there were slight differences. It looked like she was watching a video of Charlotte singing to her son and then re-watching it. After multiple views I now think these were all simulations run by “ROHOBO” (in my best Big D voice). Now i’m not sure exactly as to which scenes we are watching that are a simulation and which are the actual happenings, but i am convinced that we are seeing simulations run to determine a probable outcome. Perhaps these are even simulations where different hosts were put into Charlotte and we are seeing how different hosts would react to becoming her. One host tries to sleep with Charlotte’s ex. One host starts cutting into their skin. Another host kills a pedophile trying to pray on her son. This could possibly explain the extreme personality changes Charlotte goes through in this episode. Then this could expand on Roger’s question of who is Charlotte. The question then becomes who is Charlotte in these different scenes. I know its out there but really fun to think about.
