Another great podcast! You make this show much more enjoyable and thanks for al the time that you commit to exploring it and sharing with us. <\/p>\n

Not trying to unravel the show but since speculation on the true identity of Charlotte was discussed on the podcast, I thought I’d chime in on the possibility of Charlotte being another copy of Bernard. To me, there are several items that would support this: <\/p>\n

* Charlotte’s mannerisms seems strikingly similar to those of Bernard when he was under Dr. Ford’s control. * Bernard\/Arnold created Delores and is the person (other than herself) that she would likely trust the most (especially since he saved her at the end of Season 2). * Delores created Bernard from her memories of Arnold so, in this sense, Bernard “belongs to her”. * Bernard could certainly relate to the love of a child since losing his son was part of the backstory given to his character by Dr. Ford and understandably would be empathetic to the emotions of Charlotte in the video recording left for Nathan. * Bernard was at times “a predator” having killed Theresa Cullen and attempting(?) to murder Elsie. <\/p>\n

The only part for me that doesn’t fit is Charlotte’s sudden urge to have sex with Jake Hale. My theory is that the base urges of Charlotte remain those of the actual human Charlotte. Although very smart, I would think that Bernard would need to know how to behave like would Charlotte in the real world in order to complete the deception. <\/p>\n

Since Season 2 had books of the various human guest “codes” on a shelf in the Forge, I don’t think it would be unreasonable for Delores to have read Charlotte’s code and weave some of it into the host version of Charlotte. In fact, similar to how Bernard seeming has a manual on\/off switch for his personality, there are points in the show where Charlotte seems to pause from being quiet and zombie-like to acting like the Season 2 Charlotte talking about “creeping tenders” and generally being an scheming alpha bitch. <\/p>\n

Just food for thought.<\/p>\n
