I think this is Caleb’s 2 or 3 time through. The first time would have been when he was diagnosed as an outlier. At the end of that he would have been given his friend Francis and they would go to war as buddies. The second would have been when he and Francis failed to die when their team was killed either because the Russians got to them or Rehoboam betrayed them. That time would have short (if it happened) because they be deciding to “retire” and would still have each other to lean on. The last time would have been when he shot his best friend and had the break you mentioned. I think outliers are leaders. I have not seen any museums, movie theaters, music halls or art shows. As far as I can see the people in this future are geared to drugs, sex, power, and fitting in. There is no art and few leaders. The leaders they do have are like the Man in Black and Hale, psychopathic sociopaths. On that happy note<\/p>\n
