Hi, guys!<\/p>\n

I just wanted to say I love your podcasts. (I sent this e-mail to both addresses, because I’m talking about TV and movies, but also hoping you’ll read it somehow)<\/p>\n

First, I came across Shat On TV Westworld when I was looking for a companion podcast for the show. I found a few, but what really made me stick with you guys was that – and please don’t laugh at me – Big D’s voice sounded a lot like chef Tom Colicchio’s from Top Chef. So it was funny in the beginning, because it was as if Tom Colicchio, instead of talking about food, was weaving theories about robots and humans. But I digress.<\/p>\n

As Westworld progressed I found your podcast more and more interesting, to the point that I thought it was a necessary complement to the TV show. Needless to say, I stopped listening to the other podcasts. Over time I grew to like each one of you, Big D, Rog, and Gene, and I love your dynamics. You are smart, witty and – what I like the most – very sarcastic.<\/p>\n

When season 1 of Westworld ended, I started listening to Shat The Movies. I’m very happy with this podcast, because you talk about movies that remind me of my childhood too (I’m 38). ‘Coming To America’ is one of my favorite movies ever. I can still watch it to this day and it doesn’t get old. Of course there are some movies that I haven’t watched, but it doesn’t matter to me, because I’ll listen to the podcast anyway. For me it’s like when The Late Late Show was hosted by Craig Ferguson: his interviews were so good that it didn’t matter who he was interviewing, I would watch it. So, with you guys, it’s the same: it doesn’t matter the movie, I will listen to your podcast (but please do Top Gun next week! :D)<\/p>\n

So I’m currently also listening to Shat On TV Taboo. I feel like we’re all still in the dark about what’s happening in the show, as it’s natural in the beginning. However, I agree with you, Gene and Rog, about Tom Hardy. I’ve been following his work for a long time and I can attest that he’s playing a role that is very similar to previous ones, but I wouldn’t go that far to say he’s playing ‘Tom Hardy’. Those who watched ‘Bronson’ know that rage and rawness come very naturally in his acting, but his work also includes other interesting roles, like in Locke, RocknRolla, and Stuart: A Life Backwards (a movie with him and Benedict Cumberbatch that I highly recommend). I like these Tom Hardy acting idiosyncrasies, of him being aggressive and crazy, but I’m hoping he doesn’t let them overshine the story, because his character will need intelligence to outsmart his enemies in the next episodes; otherwise, we’ll be just one nude scene away from seeing Bronson again.<\/p>\n

Well, I think that’s it for now. This was just to say you have a big fan from Brazil.<\/p>\n
