So Leti is invulnerable, Tic has a pet shoggoth, and Hippolyta has mastered time and space. As the gamers might say these are some very OP characters. But will they be able to use any of that against Christina? I had to go back and check the beginning of the episode in case I was mistaken and I don’t think I am. Here is how I interpreted the opening scene with Christina and the family. Christina tells them that she would need Lancaster to break the curse. Well Lancaster is dead. Oh really? How unfortunate. The best she can offer then is a reset to buy time for Diane. After making a deal to help Dee if Tic goes back with her to Ardham, Christina as William visits Lancaster’s office. Does she do anything to get Lancaster to break the curse? Nope. She just gloats over Lancaster as he dies. Poor little rich white girl has her own agenda and she doesn’t care how many bodies she has to walk over to get to her goal. I also want to mention that I was sad to see the extremely over used time travel trope to avoid paradoxes. They went back in time because they had to go back in time and became part of the past while having been part of the past. Time travel tip–Going into the past to kill your own grandfather won’t work. However, going back to save your parents is just determinism. One more episode, let’s see how it all comes together.<\/p>\n
