Look, I love to look at Tom Hardy, especially since he is always covered in just the right amount of glistening sexy sweat, but this show puts me to sleep. Bravo on the attempt to make the East India Trading Company even more lively than it was, but this seems like more of a backstory of how Bane came to be Bane then it does seem to tell a story of a time England controlled everything and acted like mobsters in the way they went about business.<\/p>\n

I know we should be comparing apples to oranges, but let’s also not act like this show is anywhere near as entertaining, mind warping, or interesting as Westworld. I know Big D and Gene, you guys are really trying to make it sound WAY better than it is, and I thank you for that. But honestly, your podcast is the best thing about this show because at least I can understand what you are saying, rather than 60 mins of grunting and mumbling.<\/p>\n

This show would have hit it out of the park if it somehow came to a conclusion and instantly you see James Delaney falling into the Pit of Dispair, finding Ra’s Al Ghul’s daughter and trying to take over Gotham. THAT would be a show worth sitting through this history lesson for.<\/p>\n

I can’t be alone in thinking this would be sooooo much better as Bane’s backstory….right? Rog? Anyone?!<\/p>\n
