Gene specifically asked for our thoughts on the whole \u00abWhy would Hale \u00abbring back\u00bb Caleb?\u00bb question that seems to have the internett in a buzz. <\/p>\n

I do have some thoughts, and I\u0092ll try to keep it short:<\/p>\n

Ash touched on the possibilty that the rebelions don\u0092t remember and that\u0092s why they\u0092re called C and J etc. I don\u0092t think that\u0092s why, I think they just don\u0092t use their real names as a safety precaution so they don\u0092t get found out. I think they definitely remember, and this is shown to us by Frankie\u0092s search for her fathers body; she remembers him. The reason Frankie wanted to go with Bernard when they met was because he said he knew what she was looking for (her father). She loves her father more than anything, and even amist this fight for the human race she is still looking for her fathers body, and I assume her fathers leagcy is the reason she joined\/built the resistance in the first place. The father-daughter bond is umistakable and has been a big part of this season since the start. <\/p>\n

So, why does Hale need Caleb? What could Caleb possibly give her that she needs and can\u0092t find\/get herself? <\/p>\n

Frankie.<\/p>\n

Frankie, who obviously has a major role and rank in the rebelion (put to us pretty plainly in the scene where she stands up for keeping Bernard and Stubbs alive). Hale is going to use Caleb to get to Frankie, and then the rebelion. This father\/daughter scenerio will also give is the ultimate robot\/human question; is host-Caleb really her father and is their now-love real. <\/p>\n

I do think that Caleb and his \u00abspecial powers\u00bb ate going to play an important part in the ultimate part of the show, but I don\u0092t think that\u0092s why Hale want\u0092s him. <\/p>\n

This is my frist e-mail but I\u0092m a looong time listener. I love the show, especially Ash, and I promise to get Hackers comissioned before 2024. <\/p>\n
