I’m sure I’ll have more to say, but two quick observations right on the tail of episode 7. <\/p>\n

(1) In the preview for the Season Finale, we see a pair of gloved hands holding the tablet with Bernard’s recording. Those are absolutely Tessa Thompson’s hands. The gloves in that shot are identical to the gloves Tessa Thompson is wearing in the Behind the Scenes interview – and notably, we’ve not seen Tessa wearing that outfit all season. Note that say,s Tessa Thompson, not Hale, because honestly, it could be Christina in a Hale body for all we know. <\/p>\n

(2) I think it’s extremely cool that Host William is being set up as the Big Bad of the series. As we all know, the Man in Black, played by Yule Brenner, was the big bad of the Westworld movie. He was a homicidal host. Despite starting the whole show off with an inversion of that plot – William, a HUMAN Man in Black emerging as our villain – the show has spun us around and now we’re right back to how the original movie did it – a homicidal Host Man in Black. <\/p>\n
