Bernard’s Face Blindness

Have a Theory? Share It Now!
First of all, been listening to you guys since Season 1 and have enjoyed the banter, tin foil crafting, and community you’ve put together.
Alright, so this has been rolling through my head since episode 1 this Season, and I’m convinced of it being true now.
I think this theory bore fruit with a quick cut (sloppy?) scene edit from last night which convinced me:
Bernard has been identified with Prosopagnosia, and we’ve seen images of multiple Bernards in frame from one of the trailers.
Last night, there is a scene in the bunker with Elsie and Bernard where Bernard flashes back to the massacre in this same facility/bunker which housed the Host Delos. If you look quickly, there is a shot of one of the drones in the back room, standing in the doorway when I think the drones are snapping their necks. A quick cut jumps to our version of Bernard standing in the center of the room and in the background as the drone is collapsing, you can see a pair of black pants/shoes which I believe match Bernard’s outfit (at least for this Season).
The “face” – less drones Bernard has now witnessed in multiple bunkers got me thinking, are the drones really “faceless?” OR
Could the drones actually be copies of Bernard?
And due to his face blindness, is this condition preventing him from seeing “himself” in reality as the copies/hosts doing the grunt/ lab work in these secret bunkers/facilities?
And further, (and a bit more down tinfoil hat rabbit hole):
Could Bernard’s face blindness be a code workaround for the code needed to resurrect Delos? His face blindness could be seen as a coded version of his brain pod rejecting the reality of his clones around him. This could be seen as a potential solution to the brain fizzle the Host Delos (builds 1-149) experience when his brain rejects the reality of his death and being able to accept the reality of how the world has changed. If so, this could mean the work Ford has been doing *does* have value for this Lazarus Project, and the IP is invaluable for other individuals, even if it does not work to Delos’ benefit.
I realize Elsie didn’t exactly REACT to the drones being Bernard, but I feel the critical information why she does not react has more to do with Bernard’s conversation to Elsie that he is free of Ford and free to make his own decisions. So maybe when she shot the other drone in the lab, Bernard’s comment about telling her to hold fire has less to do with what Charlotte told him (how they stand down to anyone that poses not threat) and more to do with trying to prevent her from shooting a clone/drone.
Thanks for reading through my tinfoil rant guys! Hope you like it, and that it makes the Telegraph. Keep up the great work!
