Love the podcast, love the show. Just a couple of questions to think about.
When the guy had the tablet and reprogrammed teddy, would it have also been an option for him to reprogram Dolores (turn down her Intelligence and aggression)?
And if he could influence Dolores or any of the other hosts’ characteristics (including Maeve’s):
A) would that work in calming Dolores down and helping the humans win the war against the hosts? And;
B) if you can alter the hosts characteristics using the tablet, would that mean that none of the hosts (not even Maeve), are truly conscious?
What are your thoughts?

We saw this work on Teddy this episode, so we know it works. It makes you wonder.. who wrote those awesome lines for Teddy? He seems more conscious than Delores at this point, despite the fact that you can change his attributes.
A parallel in real life would be someone who gets brain damage. Their personality can change, but you’d still call them conscious.
So yes, I think the guy could have changed Delores’ attributes to calm her down. Not sure if the show can can wriggle out of this plot hole.
