Battle Planner Missing

Hey!

I have issues with tactics – everything was wrong, but also let’s not forget that it’s building a story.. that thing of willing suspension of disbelief. that dragons exist or the dead from centuries ago can suddenly rise, clothed and tendons still in tact – no one bats an eyelids. But that they didn’t have their trebuchets let alone main battle lines behind advanced obstacles – too much!!! We can’t take that! (Plus you try digging a 6ft deep trench in frozen ground – ain’t happening quickly) The fact that there’s No/little Dothraki or unsullied left means that Dany has no ties back to essos, and that they are at a significant disadvantage in an open battle, but will we see that, or a siege of kings landing(how good is a cav charge against a wall?) people such a grey worm, Jamie, brienne have to survive to lead armies to fight Cersei. Bran still has a role to play, but I am lost as to what that may be apart from remaining as the stark in winterfell(or his children as Sansa and Arya would. It give birth to stark children) then the crypts…. my only thought to salvage that(i wasn’t happy with that scene at all – how or why) would maybe to reveal inside lyanna’s tomb something that points to Jon/aegon’s parentage…

Just a thought. Tyrion saying that he’s missing something being down in the crypts. Maybe that’s the point, he’s the tactical genius(black water anyone?) episode 4 brings about a debrief to which Tyrion then Develops dragon combat techniques for kings landing battle. Let’s not forget, this was the first time dragons had been used in this type of battle.

It’s a story that’s being told and we need to remember that. I am slightly miffed that more didn’t die, Davos, sam, pod, tormund all really fair game. There’s too much exposition left for the frills of the cast with not enough time to give them. I am also miffed that that is the WW done. But what am I going to do about it? Be Sam Tarly and blubber about it and infect all around me or be Arya and just concentrate on what’s next…

Honestly no idea if the books are gonna follow this path. I’m guessing large plot points from asoiaf were amalgamated Ito each other for show purposes. It’s going to be interesting seeing who does what! More intrigue and conspiracy for the years to come!

Keep up the great cast work. I only stumbled across you last night but you are up there at the top for got casts!
