Bran the Manipulator-Response

Hey Guys,

In response to Matt, I feel pretty much the same way about Bran the Puppet Master. However, I didn’t get the vibes that he was necessarily trying to be selfish or that he sent Jon to the Nights Watch to secure his claim to the throne. Honestly, I don’t feel like Bran ever intended for Jon to live and die at Castle Black. When Jon is leading the free folk North, the gate starts to close behind him and he looks back. To me, he almost seemed confused, like he didn’t understand why the gate was closing behind him. As he looks around at all the free folk, it”s almost as if he realizes what Bran’s intentions were, to be free. Which brings me back to Bran’s true intentions: he wanted the Starks to pretty much rule… everywhere. Bran Stark- rules the south and the six kingdoms.
Sansa Stark- rules the North, which includes the Nights Watch in her realm. Jon Snow/Aegon Stargaryen – by default is a King beyond the wall. However, given Jon”s history, even if he doesn’t WANT to be King beyond the wall, chances are, he”ll be in that position regardless. Arya Stark- haven’t quite got there yet with Arya. Ruler of the seas? Finder of a new land? Either way, she”s badass and will be a boss ass bitch everywhere she goes.
