Love the podcast. I’ve recently got into the hobby of listening to TV podcasts and after a survey, found yours the most intelligent. I went back and re-watched American Gods and Westworld along with your podcasts and they enriched the watching immensely.

Gene said, of the Dothraki bearing down on the Lanister’s, “…whose fighting style is going to prevail…?”. 600 years of Roman domination over the Celt’s and other hordes suggested to me that organization and discipline would wins out. However, Hannibal had elephants and here there be dragons.

Secondly, I’m sympathetic to Gene’s grumpy moanings about the dragon dart. It would have more plausibly been invented after this battle.

Thanks for your great efforts and I’m glad I’m finally caught up to the point of being able to participate.
