Maeve’s Convenient Posse and Grace’s Other Man

Hi guys!

I’m back with two things that stood out to me and I couldn’t hold it in any longer! How did Maeve, Hector, and Sizemore just conveniently run into a flame thrower toting Armistice in the crazy interconnected bowels of the underground? And she just happened to have Maeve’s two “personal” techs with her? Maeve even says to Felix “your timing is impeccable” and then she (quietly) asks him “any thoughts on where we should be going?” – to which he replies no. Why does she ask him this? She has her own agenda – he knows she’s looking for her daughter but technically he hasn’t had contact with her since she got off the elevator. When we last left the techs, Sylvester had just had his throat slashed by Maeve. If I was Sylvester you better believe I would have gotten the fuck out of dodge. While we don’t know how much time has passed between that moment and the uprising, he was definitely separated from Felix for a certain amount of time. Getting your throat slashed by a host would probably convey that you need to remove yourself from this situation. Immediately! Now, Felix was left on the elevator by Maeve, and Armistice was trapped in the door fighting off security. I know she sawed her arm off to escape, but are we really believing that Felix hung around where she could find him, and/or led her to wherever Sylvester was so she could force them to repair her arm and follow her around? I know Felix and Armistice were in or around Shogunworld at the end of season 1 but Sylvester was not. How did he join them? So now I’m wondering…was Armistice waiting for Maeve’s group, in a specific location, with weapons (that she makes Sylvester carry onto the elevator – he doesn’t want to unwrap that flamethrower and torch the 3 hosts???) and 2 techs? And while Sizemore thinks they’re in a Klondike area of Westworld, we see that they are (probably) in Shogunworld. So Sizemore could not have been leading them if he was lost (maybe he didn’t know he was lost, but whatever, the likelihood remains too mind blowing). A lost group is even less likely to run into a waiting party, right? Armistice does not look surprised to see them, she looks like she’s ready to move on now that they’ve joined her. I know it’s been kind of weird that Sylvester and Felix have not tried to turn Maeve in/didn’t just straight up destroy her at an opportune moment/actually assisted her, but all these things seem to push the likelihood of this being an organic set up too far.

Now onto Grace!
I noticed a man sit down with Grace at The Raj and take off his hat. Nicholas sees her, and then the man at her table gets up and walks off as she writes something down in her little book. That just stood out to me as she’s clearly IN her book and maybe he’s a host she just brushed off, but you better believe I’m looking out for a guy with grey hair. They don’t show his face even though they show him from two different angles.

Maybe poking a hole in the idea that she wouldn’t want to sleep with a host just because they could get her DNA…well she’s in a park for at least a couple days where there are ample opportunities for DNA gathering. I’m sure there’s some guests who (god knows why) wouldn’t have sex with some kinky robots and it’s not like Delos just doesn’t get their DNA, there’s plenty of other ways. Eating utensils are everywhere, showering occurs I’m sure, hair falls out, maybe someone gets a cut or scrape on an adventure. If you’re going to the park, I would just assume they’ll be getting the DNA somehow, sex is probably just easiest.
