Questions About Ghost Nation

Gentlemen,

For all the new things we learned about Akechita and about the Lakota in general in the most recent episode, I have to admit that I am still not clear on why Stubbs’s command of “freeze all motor functions” did not work on the Ghost Nation guys who seized him at the end of last season.

Even if all those Ghost Nation hosts were awakened (which I think is doubtful), that would still not prevent them from being put into analysis mode. We have seen that even Bernard can be put into analysis mode.

When I was listening to the Deep Dive, I was hoping that you would address something else regarding Ghost Nation. Perhaps I am missing something, but I do not understand how Akechita could have seamlessly reattached other hosts’ scalps after he carved the maze into the underside.

Also, when William scalped Kizzy, we saw that Kizzy experienced this like a painful torture, exactly as a human would. Yet the man whom Akechita scalped first did not let out so much as a groan. Evidently getting scalped doesn’t hurt so much anymore, because Akechita was able to persuade a lot of hosts to have this done.
