Hey Fellas,
If Jon Snow’s parents are Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark, wouldn’t they need to marry in secret for Jon to actually have the Targaryen name? Otherwise, they had him out of wedlock and he is technically still a bastard (a Snow or technically a Sand since he was born In the Tower of Joy in Dorne and as bastard names reflect the surrounding climate). His parentage didn’t need to be a big reveal if he is just the bastard of Rhaegar and Lyanna, Jon Sand. If Rhaegar was married to Elia Martell, then how would his marriage to Lyanna be legitimate? Was polygamy totally fine in the Westerosi world? If they did marry in secret, do you think we will get this through a Bran vision?
