Crushed” Over Cersei”s Death

Hey Guys

I wrote in two weeks ago saying how much I was looking forward to seeing what kind of shit Cersei had in her back pocket for the battle of Kings Landing. Turns out she had nothing. Once her fleet was obliterated and the mega guns (can’t remember what they are called but they were just as useless as the Golden Company) destroyed I was totally on the edge of my seat screaming at my husband ‘fucking wait till we see Cersei”s face next – guarantee she will have her trademark ‘you guys are fucked” smirk on.” But nope.

Think back to all her fucked up treachery in the past and then we get to the most important battle and her biggest power play is – ineffective mega guns and assuming Dany won’t take out innocents.

Although I was strangely moved by the terror and sadness she displayed right when she realized she was going to die, it didn’t seem quite right. I keep trying to put my finger on why it wasn’t right but end up going in circles. What do you guys think?

On another note – absolutely loved her casual slide by the mountain and the hound like ‘Oh excuse me guys, can I just quickly squeeze through there? Ta. Have fun catching up. Toodle-ooo.”
