My question is why Maeve was wounded by the bullets. If she is truly woke then she should understand that the bullets pose no real threat to her. Unless the brain is damaged, woke hosts should not be getting injured or killed as a result of the type of injuries which previously killed normal hosts or humans. Dolores takes a couple of rounds in a previous episode without flinching. Is this an indicator that she is not really woke, and has simply been programmed to ignore this type of damage? Or is this just another instance of the writers not sticking to their own rules?
