Leftovers

Hey Shat Crew,

I was just catching up with this week’s Telegraph, and I had to pop in to say don’t take any shit from anyone over the Leftovers. Bring it up as often as you want. Leftovers had a flawless ending, flawless. That never happens with any TV show. At best you get a not catastrophic, soft crash at the end of any show. You add in that this was based on a book that they covered in the first season, and then they ran out of source material but expanded it to two more seasons beyond that, impossible. That’s impossible. What TV show has ever done that, ever, besides the Leftovers? And we saw what happened with Game of Thrones when they ran out of source material. Add in that it’s Damon Fucking Lindelof, the guy who had no idea what he was doing on Lost and crashed that show so hard he had to flee the country to get away from the rage. How? How did the Leftovers become the masterpiece it is? It’s a unique and wonderful diamond, and I doubt it will ever be repeated. Bring it up any time and ignore anyone who says differently.
