Hey Guys,

There are several scenes in season 1 that show William has a terminal disease. Two examples I remember ; round a camp fire he tells Teddy that he doesn’t have much time. Also in the bar, when Ford joins for a drink, he tells William that his urgency to find the maze is uncharacteristic revealing that William’s time is limited. William changes the subject saying something like ‘Wyatt -that’s something new ‘. Early in season 1, William as TMIB says that he isn’t leaving the park this time, suggesting he intended to die there, presumably after he had discovered the centre of the maze and understood its meaning. In this episode 8, he said he didn’t want to die here, ie in Westworld (now he knows the maze was not for him and he’s wasted his time looking for a toy). Of course he may have already died and his consciousness is in a host, but that would only give him 35 days so I doubt it.

Big D says Ford is a good guy. I would have agreed up to episode 7, when he took free will away from Bernard and shot guys from Q&A. Unless you agree with killing humans and want the hosts to take over the world. I think the programme makers intended us the viewers to think ‘Now Ford has gone too far ‘. Like it was ok to kill Therasa but not innocent security guards. He has the God complex and acts beyond morals, not caring about humans any more. Ford’s only objective is for the hosts to take over the earth. Thanks for the great podcasts
