So, there is a theory floating around that Jon isn’t totally worthless, that he wasn’t randomly shouting at the dragon and he actually helped Arya to save Bran. The theory is, is that Jon notices Arya, works up his courage to face the dragon and is actually shouting “GOOOO GOOO GO GO!”. I rewatched the scene and I can see where they’re coming from. I pondered on this and that’s when it dawned on me. This theory might actually have merit. Berric was brought back to life, what, 19 times? The Hound, for whatever reason, didn’t die. Jon Snow, was brought back by Melisandre… who states that she “didn’t have that power”. All 3 didn’t know why they were still alive, all 3 had a purpose to fulfill… to protect Arya. I’m officially on board that Jon distracted Frozerion long enough for Arya to slip past him and end the long night. Tell me what you think!
