Stark Reunion
I think there were two important parts that emphasize the character growth of Arya and Sansa. Lets remember that when they were last together, Arya was a little girl and Sansa a little lady.
In the crypt, Sansa says “you shouldn’t have run from the guards.” Arya replies, “I didn’t run. You need better guards.” You can see Sansa realize that Arya is indeed not a little girl anymore and you get a glimpse of that understanding on Sansa’s face. In turn, Arya acknowledges Sansa’s maturity in her own way.
Second part, when they were with Bran at the weirwood. Bran confirms Arya’s “list of names” is no laughing matter. I think at that point again, Sansa realizes Arya is by far no little girl. I don’t think Sansa was disturbed or disapproving of Arya’s “list”. If anything, she was intrigued.
The show and actors did a great job of reconciling the reunion and at the same time keeping the story moving forward while incorporating Bran’s evolution and the dagger story-line.
Great episode! Looking forward to deep-dive.
