Arya- Sorry I’m Late Part 2.
Oh, and Arya is the GOAT. Anyone that says she’s a Mary Sue, can fight me.
When I seen Arya coming in for the kill, my reaction was as follows: “YASSS” *GASP* “YASSS…wait, what?!” Then followed by (in the words of Jamie Lannister)- I thought a King would be harder to kill. It seemed anti climatic. But then I started thinking about her whole story. From who she was in the very beginning, the people in her life, the lessons she learned, the smerk Jaqen H’ghar gives her when she says “I’m Arya Stark, and I’m going home”, the people who should have died but didn’t… everything lead her to this exact moment. And she was the only one with the skills to take him out.
Look when she’s coming at the Night King. She’s screaming. Totally uncharacteristic for a character that’s as quiet as a shadow. She could have easily drilled the dagger into the back of his skull, but she wanted him to know she was there. Look at her hand, she’s holding the BLADE, not the handle. For those that say “how did she know where to stab him?!”
A girl looks with her eyes. Notice when Bran gives her the dagger, notice the placement in which his hand is in when he gives it to her, notice how he lingers in that spot for just a moment after she’s taken it. Arya was always meant to kill the Night King.
