However, the family and the boy's parents gets killed, leaving the boy and a baby alive. The boy safely escorts the baby away from Tulsa. Flash forward to an alternate 2019, where police officers wear masks to conceal their identities, Officer Charlie Sutton gets shot by a member of the white supremacy group Seventh Calvary and hospitalized -- the first time in three years after a specific attack on police homes they performed known as the White Night. Chief Judd Crawford calls for retaliation to hunt down the shooter. Angela Abar, a police officer who "retired" and runs a bakery, catches wind of the shooting and hunts down a likely suspect under her vigilante persona of Sister Night. She gets information about the shooter, who is holed up at a cattle ranch with some Calvary members. Angela, Crawford and other police members hunt down the members, instigating a shootout that results in all Calvary members' deaths, including the shooter. Some time later after the shootout, driving to the hospital to visit Sutton, Crawford faces some road turbulence. Angela gets a mysterious call from someone, who instructs her to find something near a tree, where she sees an elderly black man in a wheelchair near the lynched body of a dead Crawford.

Watchmen — King Bee’s theory

Hey guys, Glad to hear you are covering this — it’s a show worthy of your in-depth and sophisticated analysis. King Bee’s idea that the old guy played by Lou Gossett Jr. is the actual Hooded Justice is a strong one, and works for me image-istically (if that makes sense)....
