So I know you guys will think this theory can easily be thrown out, but here goes anyway.
Since the first episode of Westworld, I find it strange (and distracting) when Bernard takes off and puts on his glasses.
My theory is when he has his glasses on he is exhibiting his host personality and when he takes off his glasses he is channeling the subconsciousness of Arnold.
The next time you watch an episode maybe you will notice it too. Let me know what you think.
