First off I love the podcast. I have been a listener for a long time and have also told several friends who love the show too.

I think the scene of Brienne being knighted was so beautiful and will be significant.

If you recall in Season 4, Jaime and Joffrey are discussing the Book of Brothers sometimes called the White Book. The history and good deeds of every knight for the last 300 years is recorded there by the Lord Commander of the Kingsguard. Joffrey asks why Jaime’s entry is so short. All it mentions is squired for Barristan Selmy and killed The Mad King by stabbing him in the back and became known as the King Slayer. When it is all said and done, I think Jaime will die and Brienne will be appointed Lord Commander of Dany’s queensguard. Then she would be able to fill in all of Jaime’s empty pages.
