Deadpan Bran Wins Survivor, Didn”t Earn It

Hey Guys,

The selection of deadpan Bran as King is very much akin to selecting the winner of the reality show Survivor. The person who wins is never the best player, as those threats are eliminated during the season. The winner is the one who ends up on the throne or stage, but rarely ever the one who played the best game and earned it. The remaining losers in the jury or leftover Lords/Ladies pick the winner. This is why the selection of Bran was so hard to swallow. He”s a floater, who only participated in the action a handful of times. We even lost track of him for a whole season! He didn’t earn it.

The show is a “game,” thus should have a winner. Imagine playing literally any game with your friends and then forgetting the rules at the end, and just picking a winner among the participants. Laughable.

Long live Deadpan Bran.

I”ve listened to all your Westworld and GOT pods, using them when on long training runs for half-marathons or during my long commute to work. I appreciate your work. Westworld was so frustrating, I won’t be returning that show. Now that GOT is gone, I”ll be awaiting a Watchman pod. Hear from you soon.
