Have a Theory? Share It Now!

Good Evening Hosts,

Westworld has made several nods to the original movie it is based on. In that movie, they noted that it was the hands that gave them away and Ford noted that the earlier models he created also had issues with the hands (not to mention the Yul Brenner cameo in the old facility). That being said in the season finale they lingered and seemed to focus oddly on Ford’s final handshake with Bernard. Was this a clue or misdirection.

Sure he was shot right through the head where the core would be, but we’ve seen hosts shot through the face before. You’d have to inspect really closely to tell if there was core matter in there or not. And even if there was no core matter there, he designed everything. He could probably easily put the core somewhere else in a special model just in case they did decide to inspect the body. Encased in a large bone perhaps. Of course, this contradicts the other theory I posed, but I feel like Ford’s relent of control was superficial and one way or another he’s still movie pieces on the board. What do you think?

Is Ford present in Westworld’s code? I think the mass suicide at Pariah says “yes.” But is Ford the man still alive? I highly doubt it.
