Finale/Dany”s Arc

Hey guys! Here are my thoughts on the last episode!

The finale. I’m not upset with it. I get it. To be honest, I”ve been telling my friends that Dany is going to die and John will be the one to kill her for the past few episodes now. There were so many warning signs!! The people that are up in arms…were. not. paying. attention. They”ve been watching too much avengers in which the hero is typically the hero from start to finish. That is not GoT. Any time we see a villain in any kind of story, we like to know their back story and how they become the way they became. But there”s always a kind of emotional detachment because we know they are the bad guy. Well. Guys…Here you go! GoT has finally given us a villain that we truly loved from start to end…because we didn’t know she was a villain. We were all frogs boiling slowly in a pot and didn’t realize what was happening until it was too late. I loved Dany. But I knew she had to die. Dany”s arc was the tragic story of how a villain came to be and how we all nearly (and some of us completely) followed her into the darkness.
