So that consensus that was created and collected by Bernard was Fords. What if he has uploaded himself into the network and like a virus it spreads. What if he has been doing it for years, and he figured it out before William did. It makes since he talked about playing god and this is his and Arnolds creation. He figured it out and instead of it being one hosts it will be as many that can survive. In a sence the servival of the fittest. I could go on and on with they analogies. I will throw this one last thought into the end of this and that is that Dolores is actually Charlie and Arnold figured it out first. When he realized he had accomplished it his work was done and he can now pass on. That’s why he was so attached to her that’s why he was so disappointed when she couldn’t get to the next level. Also it may play into why she is so across the board because a child’s consciousness isn’t as developed as an adult’s. Again this is just a theory and maybe even Ford figured it out and that’s how he created Bernard with Arnold’s consciousness. But again I could keep spinning down this rabbit hole.
