Game Of Thrones – S8

Hi guys,

Love your show, been an avid listener of yours for Westworld as well (mainly season 1; I get pretty upset when i think about season 2), but I wanted to share with you an article I read that really sums up how disappointed I am with Game of Thrones. I’ve devoted 8 years of my life to this show and the books and whilst I’ve definitely noticed a decline in the quality of the story telling in recent seasons (probably due to the show moving past the books), I’ve been giving the show writers every chance to wrap up the series in a way that fulfills all the speculation and backstory, and leave us with a rewarding tale to hang our hat on and say: Game of Thrones was a masterpiece.

It’s a great article, I know you’re busy, but definitely give it a read if you have time. I personally found this article more rewarding to read than I have found Season 8 to watch. It saddens me to say it, but it’s true. I don’t even need to see the remaining 3 episodes to know that I won’t be happy with this season.

I’ll always love Game of Thrones, but now I feel like I can only love it from afar. I can certainly no longer say it’s the greatest show I’ve ever seen.
