Game of Thrones – S8e6

Hey Guys,

During the Initial watch, I really didn’t like the 2nd half. The whole bringing Tyrion, the prisoner, out in front of all the Lords/Ladies of Westeros. Was this supposed to be his trial? Instead, the conversation becomes about who should be king, and he then suggests Bran and all of these powerful people just fall in line. I really wasn’t a fan of that. But I was a fan of Tyrion’s explanation of why Bran should be king. But I also feel like, once Bran dies, the chaos will come back for all these power hungry people to try and take the throne back.

All that being said, after sleeping on it, I can appreciate the finale giving us “closure” on all of the characters we’ve loved for so long. I use quotes because I really feel like they left the door open for spinoffs for Arya and Jon. So, we will wait and see on those. I’m not ready yet to do an overall review of the season and series. So, I will do that later this week as I continue to reflect.
