Hello again,

Gene said the Red Wedding was the saddestthing he’s ever seen on tv. Is that because one of the victims was Zilpha?

Many generations of Starks rest in cryptsbeneath Winterfell. Will Jon burn thembefore White Walkers arrive?

I don’t think it was strange that Dragonstonewas deserted when Daenerys arrived. Westeroslore proves it would be quick suicide to tryto hold a fortress against an army equippedwith dragons. (Only guerrilla warfare couldsucceed, right? Maybe poison the lakes, to try to poison the dragons.) Peasants toowould fear dragons & mad Targaryens andarrange to be elsewhere.

The big question isn’t who will rule Westerosat series’ end. That’ll be determined by the whim of George RR Martin, so who cares? Even Cersei or Littlefinger could do an adequatejob. For me the big question is: Who willride the three dragons in the climacticbattle? Five obvious candidates areDaenerys, Jon, Arya (whose greatest heroesare Targaryen dragon-riding princesses), Branand Tyrion (who read about dragons during his journey to the Wall, and designed a custom saddle for Bran). Unlike Daenerys and Jon,
the other three aren’t blessed with Targaryen dragon-rider DNA, but Arya could wear the face of a dead Targaryen and maybe Bran could warg a dragon. So I’ll scratch Tyrion from my list; he’ll only design the saddles. I need to scratch one more, so I’ll scratch Bran, who will instead do what only a three-eyed raven can do, such as intel or comm or remote time-traveling warg-monging.

To push back against the wild theory that Bran will someday travel back in time to become the Night King, I suggest Bran will someday travel back in time to become Bran the Builder, who built the Wall and Winterfell.

Here’s a wild theory: After Jon Snow slays the Night King, Arya dons its face and leads the Wights to their doom. Later Arya assassinates Cersei, dons her face, and becomes Queen of Westeros. Years later, Arya takes the face of a dead dragon, roasts the Many-Faced God and takes His place in the pantheon.

Cheers, -Steve
