Good evening gentlemen and to the wonderful audience!

Long time listener and lurker. I love the amount of thought-provoking conversation you engender in me and many others. I wish more content creators were like you. Not only that, but offer unique insight, for instance Big D”s military background. I appreciate all you do. So, thank you!

I feel since this is the end of Game of Thrones, that it is time for me to step out into the fray and hopefully provide a different context on the show specifically pertaining to Daenerys Targaryen. It seems her arc took the most dramatic of turns and has left the audience with the surprised Pikachu faces. So, here goes.

In the east, for thousands of years, the tale of Mhysa, the Mother of Dragons and the Breaker of Chains, will be the stories told to children. Children will know the Dragon Queen much like every child in Westeros knows of Aegon the Conqueror and Bran the Builder. The Unburnt will inspire little girls and boys for generations upon generations.

While devastating to the people of Westeros, the people in Essos won’t care what happened in King’s Landing. But they will remember when a little 13-year-old Valyrian girl rose to become a Khaleesi and eventually freed people from the shackles of slavery.

The Red Priests and Priestesses will tell this tale to the masses and how she saved the world from the Great Other with her dragons. The Unsullied and Dothraki will tell their own stories that will take a life of their own.

Occasionally two hundred years after the events of King’s Landing, children playing in the fields and people will occasionally see a great black and red dragon swoop in the distance. This spurns more stories and retelling at every glance. Tales that Daenerys still lives and soars across the land on her child, Drogon. Children tell their parents they thought they saw a glimmer of silvery hair atop the massive beast. It may just be the sun’s glare upon the scales, but it’s enough to solidify her story. When gathered around the fires and food, they will say that The Mhysa is still a watchful guardian over her people.

Make no mistake about it, Daenerys Stormborn of the House Targaryen, will live on. No book or Maesters” clever entries in histories can undo what she has done for the millions in Essos. She will become a legend much like Azor Ahai, told in the oldest way legends are created and fostered – through story by word of mouth, ballads and mummers shows.

I hope this provided some different perspective. I can’t wait for the new season of Westworld and looking forward to your thoughts on what will hopefully be a great new season! Cheers!

Warmest Regards,
