GOT Rush 2

Hi guys,

I just thought I’d send in my alternative ending to Game of Thrones that I wrote whilst pissed off on my lunch break after the underwhelming finale. I firmly believe the writers could’ve rushed their way to a better conclusion. Here’s mine:

Firstly in an earlier episode of the series, they explain why the night king turned evil and explain his motivations for wanting to erase all memories. He also has one really good battle scene where he kills someone hard I.e Tormund. Theon still tries to save bran and Arya kills him the same way as before.

Then in last but one episode: Jaime and euron have their fight. Jaime is close but loses to Euron. Euron is making his way up to Cersei but Arya has been watching them. She sneaks up on Euron and kills him. Then pinches Jamie’s face. She puts on Jaime’s face and meets Cersei in that room with the map on the floor as Cersei is crying. As Cersei goes to hug “Jaime” she kills Cersei and lets her die thinking Jaime killed her. Then she takes off the mask and gets out before it crumbles.

Finale: everything is the same right up to the point where drogon breathes fire. Instead of burning the throne he blasts Jon. Jon survives as he is a Targaryen and fireproof. Drogon backs off shocked, burns the throne. Greyworm appears as Drogon is scooping up dead Dany. Drogon flies off with her body. In a rage greyworm charges at Jon. Jon shouts something at grey worm like you know I had to do this. And then greyworm would shout “valar morgulis” (all men must die) at him. They have a massive scrap and Jon manages to kill him.

Next scene, Jon emerges at the top of the steps with Grey worm’s head and then boots it down the steps telling the unsullied and Dothraki to go back to Esos as they don’t belong in Westeros and have no leader anymore.

Then Jon would be named king. He Frees Tyrion. He takes the crown in name and makes Tyrion his hand leaving him in charge. Jon then takes off up north and rides off into the snow. Like he did in the end. However, he would still be the king.

Much better right?!
