Got S7E2 Comments

Hey guys,

The ending of S7E2 gave me an idea of how George RR Martin might end the story. We see Theon giving in to cowardice (justifiably or not) instead of being the hero we wanted. In your 1st Thrones podcast, you guys talked about the different ways of how you would like/not like to see it end. It seems unlikely that we’ll have a hero on the throne (Jon) or someone who deserves it (Dany) or wants it (Littlefinger). It is very likely that everyone will be dead by the end, similar to how the Black Plague decimated 60% of Europe’s population. I think that by the end of GoT, only the cowards will survive because the brave would’ve died fighting– the cowards shall inherit the kingdom. (For cowards, I include those behind-the-scene schemers as well as those who run away from battle.) I could picture Theon sitting on the Iron throne in the end, due to a series of unlucky events.

BTW, I really enjoyed your American Gods recap podcast, in which you snarkily answered your snarky critics. You guys are truly the “Charmin of podcasts.”
