So glad that two of my favorite shows, Game of Thrones and On The Throne are back on the air! Now that I’m done sucking your dicks, listen up.
Clinical depression is the reason Tyrion lost his tactical and political savvy thru the last few seasons. Since his trial and the murder of Tywin and Shae, he jokes less, drinks less, and doesn’t fuck at all. But is Tyrion really that far gone as to believe Cerci is sending her armies north? Hell no. They struck a deal at King’s Landing and Tyrion’s stuck between a rock and a hard place having to choose between two potential dynasties.

The elephants promised in season 7 are a Chekhov’s Gun and HBO is putting everything on the table. So calm your tits everyone: the elephants are coming.

And you guys are right: the Jon and Daenerys love story comes off rote and fake as fuck. The hammy dialogue and cheesy waterfall setting makes Daenerys feel like a rebound to Jon’s true love, Ygritte. THAT relationship had chemistry. It all reminds me of Neo/Trinity from The Matrix and Anakin/Padme from Star Wars. My greatest hope for the end of the series is a final speech that instead of being sappy, boring, and overlong, Daenerys cries out, “My guts are spilling out! Oh, fuck! I shit myself!!!” when she dies. Thank you for reading and remaining my favorite podcast!
