Quick recap of questions so you don’t have to read it all:

1. Should Cercie have attacked Winterfell after the long night?

2. Show ends wither Dany taking the throne or Sansa on the throne in Winterfell seen as Kingslanding is destroyed.

Hi all
Love you all and thank you for all the hard work you put into the podcasts. I’ll try keep it short.

1. I know hindsight is 20/20, but I still think Cercie was better off going to Winterfell and fighting them straight after the battle against the dead. She wouldn’t have much support from the golden company but they didn’t do much anyway. Strap a few scorpions on some horses and sneak attack to get at least one dragon down. I think tactically going for the attack whilst they were down was a better play.

2. I know there are some complaints about this season of the show, but besides maybe “they needed a few more episodes” I don’t understand the complaints. The night king was never the main story so he had a fitting end. Dany turning mad has been coming since the last season. The story is as good, in my opinion, as it has been. That being said, I see the show ending one of two ways: Either Dany has the throne in the end and the moral is “history is doomed to repeat itself” or since Kingslanding is pretty much destroyed anyway, Jon gives up the throne to Sansa who rules from Winterfell. Jon taking the throne after saying he doesn’t want it so many times would annoy me (and I think many others). Sansa belongs in the North, so her ruling in Kingslanding would just not fit.

Would love to hear your thoughts.
Thank you
