Why is Bernard’s “Brain” so fragmented? Perhaps he is not only carrying Ford with him, but the backups of all the other hosts from the CR4DL? This is how Ford plans to transport them to the “Valley Beyond.” Ford cares more for the Hosts than he does humans. He would not allow them to die and stay dead. He has already told Bernard that “One fine day perhaps we will actually resurrect the dead.”
